i've listened to all the Sugacubes singles though and they seem more able to break me into her. because when i listen to her other songs i'm all >_>

I dont really listen to one band or person. I usually just find songs through shows and the internet. The only bands that i like every song are System of a Down,Green Day and the pixies. The white stripes are good too

My favorite genres are indie,punk,techno, and rock. I HATE country

I try to find music that isn't too generic and mainstream.

i used to be like all "ooh, fuck the mainstream" but now i'm just like "meh, why can't i love both?" i do like some of what's mainstream. except crap like Akon & 50 Cent. and Beyonce, can't stand that bitch. but like i said before, Katy Perry. i recently rediscovered my love for P!nk.

but i love indie. Linda Strawberry, Scarling., Butterfly Boucher, Mika(i guess he's actually a mixture of both), etc, etc.

Yea some mainstream i like, but i hate music thats been played 300 times before, like nickelback-- everyone tries to copy them and they weren't even that good to begin with.

mika is awesome. Katy perry is alright

Nickelback needs to die. i was on the Nickelwagon for about a year before i was like "ummm... alright, let's go 30 minutes WITHOUT hearing them on the radio". they got overplayed and they're STILL overplayed.

and i can't wait for Mika's new album. i hope it's as camp as his first.

Actually emo was just emotional punk when it started, but now its a bunch of girly tools screaming aobut their relationships and how they want to cry.

I hate artists that only sing about love and relationships. Take rnb for intance, all their songs are like:

ooooooo babyyyy i miss youuuuuuuuu

emotional punk was even annoying, but i can't stand any of it.

and rappers are always like:

i like artists who sing about their lives, not just their loves and lost loves. it does get quite annoying.

i kinda like Shiny Toy Guns. i was a fan before the got a record deal and the... 4 songs that were on their MySpace were awesome, but then i bought their album and other than a few songs it was utter shit.

and then they kicked out their awesome lead singer who was apparently "never part of the band" even though the entire album was labeled "Shiny Toy Guns FEATURING Carah". honestly, i heard the guy lead singer live and they REALLY tune him up in the studio because he sounds like shit live.

i do like their new lead singer though. i've only listened to a few songs from their new album and i only like Ricochet! but it really isn't worth it to buy another probably-disappointing album.
