i don't think her singing is that bad (honestly, who didn't, for a split second, mistake Stars Are Blind for a new Gwen Stefani song?), i just think the criticism is because she's not fucking Better Middler(and people love to hate her in general). her voice is pleasant though.

i want to see it.

i'm just afraid it's trying to be cult. and that doesn't work.

I didnt mistake her song for a new Gwen Stefani song. Gwen is too amazing!

I learned something that I'll always keep close to my hear from Paris! "Always do something horrible the first time so no one would ever ask you to do it again." Brilliant!

The first half of the movie was great and fun, but the ending did kinda drag on for a bit. But thats just my opinion. Paris and her brothers were hilarious through out the entire thing! I'd watch it again if I could Very Happy

Woops! I confused their latest album for their new album Sad I feel like a pile of pooey now Sad

I still loved Shortbus since I can semi-relate to it! My friend has never had an orgasm and she broke down in tears revealing it to me :O Well she has now because she had sex with a stranger, while buzzed, and came! Then did her bf and hit the big O again! Cheers for her!

to me, Gwen's music is good at rare points, but it's very inconsistent. No Doubt is great, debut to Rock Steady. although i have to admit i don't listen to either very much anymore. No

I bought Gwen Stefani solo album (hehe) and I only liked the tracks that weren't released as singles. I was hoping so bad for her to release one of the ones I liked

I was addicted to No Doubt's "New" song for a while haha! Even sang it (well kinda) for my AI audition Razz

I youtube'd Rock Steady and listened to the most '90s song I've heard in a while @_@

The Climb and Sailin On are better than those you listed, but gawd I love em anyway

no doubt kinda went a little further downhill with every album I thought, and then came gwen and her harijuku girls and her yodfelling and her sweet escape and i was just like ugggggggh (i kinda like What You Waiting For though)

cant wait for their new stuff, it should be interesting, i think it will be better than the last stuff they released

Just a Girl is like... orgasamable, especially when it first came out. I loved the jewel she wore in the middle of her forehead and how she was doing pushups like she was getting ready to beat me down.

I really enjoyed shortbus, though they do force a certain amount of nudity and faux sensuality down your throat (literally in the opening scene) but it was beautiful at times, like when the main character has her waterbox chats with her new friend. It was suprisingly funny at times too, I'm remembering someone shoutsinging the national anthem into someone elses ass during sex? There are deleted scenes which change a whole segment of the movie too, you find out a character is working for someone famous. Mostly I just like the thought of each person finding their big O eventually.

so i saw this movie.

mediocre leaning towards good.

i loved the story, except i just read that it was a carbon copy of some play's story.

good voices: Anthony Head, Alexa Vega, Paris Hilton, Sarah Brightman, Terrance Zdunich.

bad voices: almost everyone else that was featured.

my main problem with it is that the movie is SO fucking cluttered. there's nothing wrong with 58 songs, RENT is a good example. but it was more like 5 songs with 3 actual songs and 2 songs containing the same effing melodies and lyrics throughout the rest of the movie.

it seems like they accidentally hired too many extras and put them in unnecessarily at times. bleh.

the best song is the one where the Blind chick who was married to Andrew Lloyd Webber reveals to that dorky cute chick from Spy Kids that she's her god-mother and stuff. beautiful.

the worst song is the whole:
"it's my job
to steal
and rob"

i cringed. almost turned the damn movie off right then.

Paris Hilton is better than she's given credit for. she's a good actress and her voice is decent enough to sing.

Giles made the gore believable.

what also makes this movie cluttered is that it was trying to be: a Tim Burton movie, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, an epic story, too dark(literally. at some points, i couldn't see a thing). they should've picked one, maybe two, of these things and stuck with that.

anyway. i'd rather the emo tweens clutter and obsess over this movie than Twilight.

but i probably won't watch it again. i'll just download the soundtrack for those 3 or 4 songs i like.

you thought that was the worst song? I thought the worst one was "Seventeen". It was too Miley Cyrus for me hehe.

I did think that scene was a good one. The one with Blind Mag. Very Happy I was sad when she died. Sad

Paris looked stunning when her face fell off and she tried putting it back on! It was like a visual orgasm Very Happy

oh yeah, i thought "i knew they'd slip some Disney in here somewhere." Joan Jett should be ashamed.
