RECAP NUMBER ONE

THIS WEEK ON IMDB's NEXT TOP MODEL:

Before the competition even officially began, one of our new contestants was already making enemies. Jonny put himself in hot water with Cycle 2 Runner-Up Jeraldo when they got into a heated discussion about smoking:

JONNY: it's so annoying how people have double standards for everything. i'm sure there's something you do that's unhealthy for you and you probably do at least one thing that has a negative effect on those around you, but i'm not going to come down on you about it.

JERALDO: Yes we all are royally frrrrkng over the environment, so does that mean we should frrrrk it as hard as we can? No.
It's not the same thing. Automobiles are pretty much a necessity to exist in this world, tobacco is a complete leisure item. To wipe out the problem that are cars would be to eliminate the access people have to their places of employment, and chaos would ensue. The only way to instantly fix that pollution would be to surgicly implant titanium legs to each persons torso and have them run on batteries.
Seeing as how that's not really an option and for people to just stop smoking is a totally viable option and choice it is so very much two different things.

JONNY: Smoking is my right and you can try to shove in my face how everyone around me has to deal with it, but i don't give a damn. Smoking is hurting me and me alone. i don't do it in public and i haven't hurt anyone with my second-hand smoke.

JERALDO: You don't think it disipates into the wind, the atmosphere, down the street to your neighbors?
There's absolutly no possibly way to not produce second-hand smoke that isn't harmful.
So I'm calling BS on that.

JONNY: well i'm not going to get into a BS calling contest and see who is worse.

The models moved into the new "house" and immediately started bonding over their favourite movies, music and books. Talk quickly turned to predictions. Mikiel, Karasu, Amaranth and Jonny were pegged as the top competition, while Killian, Shaq, Jasanee(Jazz) and Sara weren't considered threats.

Killian, Shaq and Mikiel raised concerns about their places in the competition, doubting their ability.

Jonny revealed his crush on one of the straightest guys in the house, Karasu, and Sara began having issues with her memory.

When Jazz finally entered the "house" many days late, she entered with a bang and a sarcastic comment from Chloe offended some.

JAZZ:IM HERE KNOW! I'M GONNA BE ACTIVE SO SEE I'M HERE N NAW I AINT GONNA DROP OUT!

CHLOE: Your use of caps lock is endearing.

KARASU: Was that comment necessary? I hate when people rag on others just because they use chatspeak on the internet.

JAZZ: OK WHATS WRONG WITH USING CAPS IT DONT MATTER IT'S NOT YOU SO YOU SHOULD'NT BE WORRIED ABOUT ME OK? AND AWWW THANK YOU

KARASU: You could've just said not to use cap locks instead of being sarcastic about it.

CHLOE: Lol wow i was just joking.


Everyone was excited whent he first TWO photoshoots were assigned and the theme of the cyce was also revealed- Every photoshoot in Cycle 3 will be photoshoots taken from NEXT TOP MODEL franchises of the world!!!

For their first shoot, the models had to pose inside a picture frame whilst showing off their personal style and personality. It was an edited version of the "Couture Portraits" shoot from Phillipine's Next Top Model.

Their second shoot was an editorial shoot with a car, the "Ford Fiesta" shoot from Cycle 3 of Australia's NTM. For this shoot, they had to look frickin cool standing with a car and show off what they thought to be good fashion sense.

At judging panel, the judges were revealed-

Bree, winner of Cycle 2.
Cozy, Runner-Up of Cycle 1.
Mark(Firebolt)
AndyStern(nextflyestish)
Mr. Janice (nigelicious)
Kazara, winner of Cycle 1.
And of course, me! The fiercest in the land!

Mikiel, Jonny and Chloe were commended for their creativity. The judges were underwhelmed by the "bland" pictures of Amaranth, a pre-show favourite to win. The judges though Lauren and Chantal put in good effort, but all agreed there was soemthing missing from their shoots. Karasu and Robbie both had an amazing picture, which were unofrtunately upstaged by their other bad photos. While the judges liked Sara, she proved to be forgettable for some judges and Killian landed in every single judges' bottom three for his lacklustre photographs. Jazz failed to submit any photos and was eliminated by default. Kendra landed in the bottom two for not submitting her Fiesta shoot, and Shaq joined her there for having photographs that were either too dark or too small to appreciate.

Passion was chosen over beauty, and Kendra was eliminated, allowing Shaq to live another week.

Hey Jonny, go for the pre final Renee edit. Otherwise you might get the "old/ too much sun" edit even though your on track for the final runway show.

What happened to your poster?

I stopped smoking pot and decided to rid myself of all my "stoner" paraphernalia. I believe I gave it to one of my kind neighbores.

I stopped with drugs when i was like 15 (except for one or two parties recently XD)

drugs are kinda boring.
i tried coke once and nothing happened, so i stopped.

yea i tried it once too and my nose started to burn, but nothing else. Weed never did anything to me either.

nothing happened, like at all. i was like ten and i was all excited cause i was going to do coke and then i got all disappointed. pfft.

never done weed. not really interested in doing it.

Haha, yesterday I partied harder than I ever have before, and I still woke up fine. lol. At least I don't do it too much harm, just the occasional fun. :] No snorting or injecting or crack or pills for me, though. lol. That I swear to stay away from.

keep your appearance clean, that's a good choice.
a teacher once told us that she stopped doing heroin because she started smelling and she started getting bags under her eyes.
just cause of that. not because it was bad for her or anything, but because she didn't like what she looked like.
she was awesome.

it's okay. i have no desire to do drugs(i never have before). i don't think i ever will unless i get bored when i get really old.

i drink though. i can drink like one crazy motherfucker.
