I luvd this movie so I made a fan trailer of it. Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5chiM8LCcM
Please rate and comment! BTW, I think I'm one of the few people that actually think Quarantine was better than [REC].

I liked the acting a little more. Usually I would go for the gritty-type film like REC, and Haute Tension and The Descent, but i felt like Quarantine was a little bit more polished. I'd almost say I like both movies equally but there's someting about Quarantine that speaks out to me a little more. The dead-ish guy at the end in REC was WAY scarier though.

yeah, i kinda agree, they are almost eye-to-eye. almost.
the only thing i did like Quarantine better for was not having to hear in Spanish and read the subtitles "PABLO! KEEP FILMING! FILM EVERYTHING!" every 5 minutes.

That was the only thing that I couldn't stand in REC. The actress was a little too over the top whereas Jennifer Carpenter acted a little more natural and I could see myself acting like her in that situation. I can't wait for REC 2 though. Angela will have a cameo in it. I hope she survived though even though thats a very small possibility.

Have you seen the trailer for The Descent 2? It seems good, but nowhere near as good as the first film. I'm kind of sad about them making the Descent part II because I thought the original ending was so brilliant in the first one and this one kind of ruins it.

i actually think the Descent sequel's trailer looks downright cheap, but i'm not letting it drag down my hopes for the movie itself because the original was the best horror film in YEARS. of course, without Neil Marshall, the sequel will not be as good but as long as it's half as good, i'll be pleased.

Rec 2 could go either way. no idea really and there's no trailer yet.

I've actually been think about the descent 2's trailer, but how could Juno survive in the cave for several days without food and the crawlers lurking around her? I think this'll be a huge plothole in the film. As for REC 2, I think it will turn out decent. I don't think the sequel would work as good as the original, but it could go any way. I hope they carry on the handheld style though.

Juno could've crawled into a corner, waited for the right moment and killed a lurking crawler and ate it for food. it's crazy and out there, but you'd be surprised what people will do to survive. i think it'll work.

I don't like the whole conceptof Sarah escaping and the team taking her down there for investigation. I rather would have seen Sarah and Juno still alive and a team finding them by accident, and making a new group of victims, yadayadayada.

i actually like the idea. if The Descent had been made in America, by Americans, the sequel would basically be a remake of the original with completely new characters, probably have something to do with the army. Rolling Eyes

I know right! I HATED what they did with The Hills Have Eyes 2. I guess the idea is okay, but I still wish Neil Marshall would have come back to direct, not just to produce. I feel that The Descent 2 will not have that claustrophobic and eerie vibe that the first one had. I saw the first one when I was 12 and it scared me for life. Since then it has been one of my fave horror movies of all time. I just feel that the sequel won't be able to live up to it. What are some of your favorite horror films?

i would also include these even though i consider The Devil's Rejects to be more of an action/thriller and not so much "horror".

these i would not include:
Halloween (07) - a complete disgrace and removal of what made Michael Myers terrifying in the first place

Firdya the 13th (09) - it was the best you could expect, i guess, but these people did the TCM remake. they could've done MUCH better.

Wolf Creek - i was bored to tears in this movie.

but that's okay, you've got some awesome taste in horror.

It actually kept me on the edge of my seat when I first saw it. But I was like ten back then. I haven't seen it for like 2 years now and I'm planning on watching it this weekend again. Very Happy

i hope you mean the original, which was boring as hell except where the cripple gets a chainsaw through the stomach.

the remake was exciting though. i was watching it with friends and some friends of my family. and this 500lb guy bent the left side of my mom's couch because he jumped so hard. omg. that movie is adrenaline.
