My faves
My first shoot:
That day was really horrible because I had a really bad migrane but I think this shot was pretty good. A lot of people alsked me how I did the paint effect, but I just used a toothbrush to spray the paint.
My murderer shoot:
I loved doing this shoot because it was so me! It was something really scary and creepy which I really loved. I kinda felt like A.J. in cycle 7 when she got to do the cannibal shoot. I think this is my best photo of the competition. I was actually thinking it was gonna get an a lot higher callout (That prob sound so arrogant sorry)
My war Torn Children (Unused frame):
I think they should have used this frame because this probably would have earned me an a lot higher callout. I loved doing this shoot though because I love to act and I totally got to use my acting skills in this. (Looking back at this, I was sooooo big back then Shocked )
War Torn used at judging: ]
I'm not crazy about this shot but I did think at the time this was kind of underrated by most of the judges. But I do feel that the wrong shot was chosen for judging, the one above should have been chosen, IMO.

My favorite shot was my "rocker" cover b/c it was my only good photo, and it got 3rd callout Razz Little known fact, my name is mispelled on the cover.

My least favorite was my " Aye Monstro Papi!" murderer/drowner shot, so here's the do over. I filled the bathtub with ice cold water (b/c it was getting too hot in there)..... then I fell in Very Happy

I think that picture may have worked slightly better for the sad indie kid shoot haha. Since most people were in a bathtub ya know? Whatever the case, I'm really diggin that shot! haha

you LIKE your vogue cover, connan? i'm surprised because i always found it really stiff and unflattering.

cozy's runway and kazara's cycling were hands down the two best photos of intm 1.

and my favourite was my death shot.

Post  awkward_silences on Wed Mar 18, 2009 9:43 am

Eh, given that this is a competition, I guess the stress and absolutely no time (I think that's what might've ticked people off. They might have thought I was mad because I didn't have a photographer, when it was actually because I was only given the amount of time it took for my dad to go to the grocery store before he whisked me away to be his slave for the rest of his stay in America before returning to Brazil ONE DAY before my elimination) shouldn't affect whether I was allowed to stay or not. It did sort of suck that Ava quit right after, though. Haha, big womp, but it's all good. And thanks for the nice comments. Smile But looking back- and mind you, I was a Jeraldo supporter- I think Bree made a good winner, and has turned out some great post-show pics as well.

Hah hah, yey, Erik, thanks for acknowledging. I know a lot of people didn't have faith that I was kept around after you left. But actually, I think our scores might have been very different, because I think a few judges actually liked my picture.
Personally, even though I love Ava to death (and her profile picture here is actually more modelicious than anything she did in the competition), I would have eliminated her for the photoshoot. She looked the same in both poses and showed no creativity whereas at least you tried something different.
After she quit, I would have put you back in for the Grazia/runway, but that's just me.

Maybe in future cycles, since there has been an escalating amount of quitting over the past couple of cycles, there could be a new rule saying that if a person quits for legit reasons, then the last person eliminated could submit a retake, and have that evaluated. It'd help make the cycles longer as Lesus would intend, and give the eliminee the opportunity to potentially prove that they could stay. IDK, but I always tend to feel bad when someone gets eliminated only for someone else to quit the following week.

That's ok, at least you didn't horribly mis-spell it. You SO did say that, or something similar. I think maybe you said it looked like I was cupping breasts (or tweeking) like a playboy centerfold. Something along those lines lol Razz
