How are your pics coming out?

I just finished the dramatic one and it took me like 2 hours lol. I had to hang my camera from a wall because noone was home to take my pics.

I did the simple one, but i might do it again because my pics look kinda "safe"

I haven't started it yet.

I'm doing it tomorrow or Saturday.

I have my hair and I'm going to get someone to do my makeup since I'll end up looking like a clown but I need to find something to wear that isn't too plain or safe looking for the dramatic part.

I used a suit jacket lol and my hair is the same as in my avatar

Dammit I was going to attempt a mohawk! Guess I'll just do something crazy and ugly beautiful.

It always come across as all effort, no delivery with me. And I always look like I'm trying too hard.

Well Killian, if there's one thing I want you to remember from my critique this week it's that I'm really seeing your natural good looks... you are a very good-looking guy. So I think you need to have faith in that, particularly in the "simple" shot. Not saying rest on your looks, but go to a place of vulnerability. I consider a very intense stare at a camera more of a risk than, say, screaming at the camera. Be really patient, but don't underestimate your looks. You don't have to do too much.

its a good thing all you need is a vest and jeans and simple hair and make-up lol

Hey, my Dramatic setting is this place just behind my house with an oil tank and grey walls and sort of busted glass panes and nails and stuff there. Would that be a decent enough location or should I find somewhere else?

probably. i pretty much love B&W... or anything with low saturation.

i like to give my pictures a low saturated look but to maintain the skintone! B&W just creeps me out! i start imaging people walking around in that color and it.. its just creepy D:
