What is Beautiful?

Hello Everyone:

I think it's time there is more positivity around here. So I am thinking that we should talk about something beautiful. And what better way then to start with BEAUTY itself!? So I think this will be a great topic and it will help with giving a little more insight on people on this board.

So the basic question is:

What is beautiful in a woman to you?

Mainly I am attracted to Latina's when it comes to women. Women that can carry the allure of Penelope Cruz, usually get me going, but in all reality I am mainly attracted to women, that have something that is just slightly off about them. Let's take a look at this example:




You have LeeLee versus Megan! I personally think both girls are extremely beautiful in different ways. But I find that Megan isn't as beautiful as LeeLee, by any means. The reasoning for that is because I feel like girls that aren't as obvious as girls like Megan Fox, have more mystery to them, and if I look at a girl and actually want to keep looking at them, because I can feel their inner beauty coming forth, that is more attractive to me than a WONDERBRA and LIP GLOSS. So for me the definition of beauty in a woman is jeans and t-shirt, and they could care less if they wake up with no make-up because their exterior is only a small portion in what makes them beautiful.


Another basic question:

What do you find beautiful in men?

Well it's not far from women, but their is something that really does pull it from being the same old thing. For men, being a little obvious in beauty doesn't bother me. What I think makes a man sexy and beautiful is an awkwardness. My type of guy tends to be much more nerdy and off then your average tool. What makes it better is when they look a bag of rocks, but have the inside of a encyclopedia. Example:



A dorky goofy laugh, a kinda nervousness or the shy ones to me seem to be more attractive. I find that much more beautiful than someone who looks like...well ZAC EFRON.

Attitude definitely makes someone more attractive. Please don't quote that.
But it's most definitely true. What really find beautiful, awkwardness and confidence, but the kind of awkwardness and confidence that is true to that person's heart. Ultimately beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but for some reason, the eye of society has a larger impact on what we are shown. I think that will change one day, and I hope it's soon.

Umm, if this thread seems kinda unfinished or off, it's because I really don't know what the hell I am talking about. LOL.

personally beauty isnt everything. but i like the dark and emo. peircings(not nipples or...other taboo places.) and tattoos. guys in bands are the types i mostly date. hot sexy and badass. Zac Efron is hot. so is that other guy.

I know everyone likes to look at eyes as their favourite facial feature, but what's more important to me is the smile.
I'm a very happy, smiley person, so I greatly value a person who has the same disposition as I do. My boyfriend has one of the most amazing smiles (and a kickin' set of teeth!) I have ever seen, and what's great is the second I met him (nine years ago)I had a great indication of his personality - because he was always smiling.
He's not typically attractive. Aesthetically there's nothing wrong with him - no googly eyes, sufficiently-sized nose, no rolls of tub or unwanted hair. But he's not that douchehole Zac Efron. He's impossibly skinny with long arms and a long torso with a confounding inability to grow facial hair. But I adore his pretty long eyelashes and his soft almost-as-long-as-mine hair. Also, his sense of style and the freedom he has with his body is something that I'm not only attracted to, I'm envious of.

BIG eyebrows

like my second boyfriend Zachary Quinto (sylar from heroes) he is like soo hott

and my boyfriend has BIG eyebrows and so does Russel Brand

so thats what i go for lol

they always say you go for someone who reminds you of your dad and my dad has big eyebrows and so do i.. so thats where it my love-ness for them comes from proberly lol

i enjoy people who take care of their eyebrows, but i think this:



proves people should just leave them alone.

i don't have to take care of my eyebrows though, thank god. they're not overly bushy or unibrowed. most of the time, they're covered by my hair though.

I always have a preferenced for nice teeth and someone's eyes (there's this one girl I know who has the most beautiful eye colour). But I think what's most important is their personality. It's a cliché, I know, but true.

Ooooh nice teeth are a must for me! I love my boyfriend's teeth. As someone who went through three years of painful braces, I am definitely Le Jealous.
