Mikiel = ???

Since I know that name is kinda hard to pronounce/remember, I'll just tell y'all my real name. Its Michael. I hate it its atrocious and bland hehe Feel free to refer to me as that if ya want

there was a little thing about my name last cycle,

my biological father's last name is ross
so my mom told dme at the age of 5 that my name will always be ballard mer ross even though legally when i was born i was adopted michael espinoza, so technically according to the gov't im michael too, but i was born a ross, so yeah

Mikiel, as a model you should still go by "Mikiel." It sounds awesome.
My dad made a mistake filling out my registration as a baby. Under "Last Name" he wrote "Mantha," but the certificate at this hospital, instead of saying "Given Name(s)" like the ones for my brother and sister did said "Given Name 1," and "Given Name 2" (2 meaning middle name I guess). So my dad wrote "Breanna, Lynn" under my "given name 1," then (and people wonder where I got my idiocy) thought that "given name 2" meant, like, a backup name. So he wrote "Heather."
So my name was supposed to be Breanna Lynn Mantha, but instead it became Breanna Lynn Heather Mantha. My parents had it legally changed to Breanna-Lynn, but on a lot of school documents I'm just down as Breanna. And at WLU I'm officially recognized as "Bree Heather Mantha," which I think is awesome. No "annalynn!"

I would have originally been named Zachary instead of Kyle, but my damn grandmother was so stubborn and would have rather named me kyle. i think I would have preferred Zachary.

My mom always wanted a boy named Sam, no word of a lie. Then she married my dad, and well... if you know my last name (which isn't hard because it's in the post above) you know why "Sam" wouldn't work.
Then she intended to name my brother Matthew. But again, Matthew Mantha sounds like you can't say your "S"s.

You have a great name Mikiel. Even though it doesn't have the traditional 'Michael' spelling, at least it's not My-Cawl or Mae-Kuhl. Heh.

I was supposed to be named Theodore. But it turned out I had a donut instead of a lollipop.

You have the same name (except for the K being a C) as the super hot actor Cillian Murphy. It's a lovely name. Is it typically Irish? I love Irish names.

Thank you! It's Irish, but it also has German origin. Saint Kilian went over to Wurzberg (sp?) in Germany to spread Christianity. And Cillian Murphy is really really talented. There aren't enough Killians out there! There are defitnely some beautiful Irish names, like Saoirse ( pronounced Seer-sha).

AHH! My computer's name is Saoirse!!! Haha! (P.S. I LOVE my computer. That's why she gets a fancy name.)

I love the name Mikiel. I feel kind of silly that i never realized it was Michael. I say it like McKeel or Muhkeel. But that's just my Wisconsin-ese.

I was originally named Lindsey Anne because EVERYBODY in my family has Anne as their middle name, but then it was changed to Lindsay Irene with the better spelling and the extremely better middle name. I love the name Irene. It's originally Greek, but adopted later by English speaking Europe and there are SO many different ways of adapting it. If I ever wanted a pen-name I would be Eirena or Irayna. And the combination with Lindsay makes it flow. My last name (go ahead and stalk me) is Emanuel, which I think is very pretty and Biblical. It comes from Sweden, but has Spanish influences as well.

Way, way, way back in my ancestral roots. The Emanuels began when the Swedish either settled or invaded Spain. i don't remember my history all that well. But that's only 1/4 of me. The rest of me is Polish and German and a few other things. mostly german.

I always pronounced "Mikiel" as "Mick-ee-elle".

i always pronounce "Mikiel" differently depending on my mood haha. its usually "Mi-Kyle" or "My-Kee-elle" but like hearing everyone try and say it

Birth name stories yay!! My real last name was suppose to be Robinson (it sounds so professional hehe) but whoever did my name thing put my last name as Guillen. So I went like 13 years of my life with that last name without ever noticing until i went to go get my passport. Was really a fun experience trying to sort everything out. We had it legally changed to Robinson so everything is cool, but kinda preferred the last name Guillen just 'cause it showcased my hispanic roots more
